Understanding the Form API

This session will focus on leveraging the Form API in Drupal to learn the following:

1. How to alter existing forms to add, change or remove elements

2. How to override or complement existing form validation and submit functions

3. How to create new forms in a custom module to store administration settings

4. How to follow development and security best practices

We will start out with an overview of what is involved in the process flow and then discuss what is required to theme, validate and submit forms.  Finally, we will conclude with a short review and then open it up for questions and answers.
