Whether due to client demand, start-up inexperience, or lack of a better method, many agencies still use cost-based pricing to determine the client-cost of projects (think hourly or weekly billing).
As we move away from custom solutions to module-based, assembled websites, we open the opportunity to a new approach to pricing, value-based pricing or Value Pricing.
Value Pricing means we base our price on the value we deliver, not the cost of production.
We will explore a high-level view of the fundamentals, the prerequisites and some of the pros and consĀ of value-based pricing.
