Drupal and the LMS with LTI

The IMS Global Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) specification provides a framework for integrating the Learning Management System (LMS) with external tools. This Web Service API allows the LMS and an external tool to share data such as

• Instructor and Learner "Single Sign-On"
• Memberships
• Outcomes

In this session you will learn the benefits and limitations of LTI and Common Cartridge in the LMS, how your Drupal learning web site may act as an external tool via the LTI Tool Provider module, and possibilities for the future. This session is targeted for anyone interested in the EDU space, but there will be assumptions about Drupal site building experience such as how to install modules and navigate Drupal.
